Caring school pupils listen to plans to clean up the ocean
A Slough based recycling technology company at the heart of the fight to clean up our oceans shared thoughts and ideas with excited school pupils.
The pupils – all aged seven to 13 – were all from St George’s School at Windsor Castle. The company is Ocean Polymers which is based at Grays Place in Slough. It has an ambitious plan to deliver a fleet of marine based waste processing systems operating in the world’s oceans, river mouths and estuaries.
It will produce valuable synthetic gas from the plastic and waste collected which will be utilised to fuel the boat, making it a fully sustainable project.
